Just Perform is delighted to confirm the continuation of its collaboration with the Celtic Challenge for the 2024/25 season. Building on a highly successful client relationship, Just Perform will oversee the management and development of the league as it enters its next phase of growth and evolution.
This year’s iteration promises to provide an unparalleled platform for the development of women’s rugby, with six teams from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales competing in 30 matches across five home and five away fixtures per team.
The Celtic Challenge continues to be a critical part of the rugby calendar, offering emerging talent the chance to shine on a high-performance stage while bridging the gap between domestic and international women’s rugby. Last season, the competition facilitated significant player development, with 68 players advancing to feature in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations, eight of whom earned their first international caps.
Josh Payne from Just Perform, shared his excitement about the extention: “We are thrilled to continue our work with the Home Nations and World Rugby. We saw great improvement in the Celtic Challenge last season, and are confident we can continue to drive performance and standards for all involved.”
The extended collaboration also aligns with the broader strategic ambitions of the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), and Scottish Rugby, as they strive to elevate the game’s profile and ensure a competitive pathway to the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2025.
Further details about the Celtic Challenge’s fixtures and launch dates will be announced in the coming months.
